Remailers

Remailers are servers that remove the sender's address from a message before sending it on to another user, message board (such as Usenet), or other recipient.

• The sender sends an email to the remailer that includes the address of the recipient, as well as the addresses of any other remailers in the chain.
• The remailer removes all identifying information and passes it on to another remailer or recipients.
