RESEARCH SPECIALIZATION
Applications of discrete mathematics that provide novel solutions to fundamental problems in image processing and other areas. Includes the use of image algebra, artificial neural networks, genetic algorithms, and stochastic processes in such areas as texture modeling and analysis, object recognition, boundary detection, and steganogrphy.
